IL-12 is a regulatory protein produced by activated B-lymphocytes and macrophages. Murine IL-12 is a 75 kDa heterodimeric glycoprotein (506 amino acids) consisting of disulfide linked 35 kDa (p35) and 40 kDa (p40) subunits.
