A potent, selective and ATP-competitive inhibitor of Polo Like Kinase 1 (PLK1) (Ki = 2 nM). Displays >100-fold selectivity for PLK1 over PLK2 and PLK3. Shows anti-proliferative activity against several tumor cell lines.
