Antidiabetic agent; exerts potent glucose-lowering effects in insulin-resistant diabetic mice. Displays anti-invasive effect on human breast cancer cells; reduces migration, adhesion and spreading on fibronectin-coated plates. Also inhibits lamellipodia formation and actin polymerization.
