GLI antagonist that inhibits GLI1 and GLI2-induced transcription (IC50 ~ 5 μM). Inhibits the hedgehog (Hh) signaling pathway downstream of SMO and SUFU causing GLI1 nuclear accumulation. Displays antiproliferative and antitumor activity in vivo.
